Since I'm new to photography and it's just a hobby of mine, I don't know much about rules and how to work with the different lines and shades of color to really make my photos stand out. Reading these different articles really helped me get a better sense of what I need to be thinking of when doing different shots and how I can change them to make them look better. Hopefully I'll have a better trained eye for critiquing my own work.

The First Article is about the traditional rules of composition. This is one that I liked because I didn't realize how many different types of composition played a part in your photos. Now when looking for photo opportunities, I can look at something in a different perspective. The golden rule and the framing rule were two I liked most because they make for interesting photos. The golden rule has that pop effect on your focused point, which is something I like, and in the framing, the photo almost makes me feel like i'm there taking the photo myself.

Probably my favorite article was the composing with color. That's what really gets me in a photo. I really like when you can take the color out of a photo and just leave one item in it with color. when done right to the right photo, to me is so beautiful. I really like black and white the most. To me their so simple and yet there's so much to look at as your eye travels through the depth and contrast of the white, grays and black. And to me there seems to be more of truth shown through in them. The other twi articles also have good points in them and helped in my furthering of photography knowledge, but these first two articles are what really sunk in to me.
